I supervised the research for this policy report while an American Academy of Religion Luce Fellow in Religion and International Affairs at the United States Institute of Peace from 2017-2018. I supervised an additional round of data collection in 2018 and the policy report was published by USIP in October of 2019. The purpose of this project was to identify the key institutions, individuals and ideas that characterize the contemporary Iraqi religious landscape.

In my current research on Iraq, I am focused on the use of social media by Iraq’s Shia clerics. You can email me directly for more.
